2010 Steamboat Springs Running Series

Register early and participate in the 24th Annual 10,000 Meters at 10,000 Feet – A Challenging trail run with some rough terrain and breathtaking scenery…. this race is a Steamboat classic! The 10K race begins at 10,000 ft at the summit of Rabbit Ears Pass first heading uphill on USFS dirt roads and 2 track, the race then heads downhill on single-track, ending on a cross country single-track. This race although listed as a 10K is closer to 7 miles in length.

This race is run on Sunday, September 5th, 2010 at 10:00 AM, and if you plan to walk the course the walk will begin at 10:05 AM. 5K and 10K offered. The race will be held at The summit of the old Rabbit Ears Pass Road. You have to take the Dumont Lake Road to the Rabbit Ears Monument and parking area.
